Al Pospisil, age 81, passed into the arms of his Savior March 7th surrounded by his loving family. He suffered so many illnesses and challenges these last years, always with grace and dignity, accepting what God had given him. He loved and was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. He loved feeding the birds and squirrels. Spending time with his grandchildren brought him tremendous joy.
Al served in the Air Force 1964-1968. He was married to Elizabeth Boyer on July 25th ,1970. Al worked at LeFebure as a welder for 26 years, and then a custodian at Washington High School for 13 years.
He is survived by his wife Beth, son Jeff (Jennifer), son Randy (Kim), daughter Sophia Jenelle (Jersey) Rivers, grandchildren Sam, Abby (Josiah) Lewis, Jessie, A.J., Max, Atticus and Olive, sisters Alice Werneberg, Nancy Nickerson, Pat Houdeshell, sister-in-law Bonnie Pospisil and many loved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents Ed and Albia, step-mother Wilma, sister Madeline, and brother Don.
Visitation will be at Cedar Valley Bible Church on Friday, March 14, 11 AM - 12:45 PM followed by the memorial service at 1 PM.
