Aecha Kim Wessels, 81, a resident of Columbia, Tenn., passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at Heritage Funeral Home of Columbia, Tenn., with Mike Stalnaker officiating and burial following at Maury Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Aecha was a member of Community Baptist Church in Spring Hill. She retired from Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed fishing, especially in Panama City, Fla. Other activities she enjoyed were cooking, gardening and designing and decorating. She had a very special dog, Popeye.
Aecha is survived by her son, Jon (Nicki) Wessels of Columbia; daughter, Sherri (Willard) Anderson of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Zach Wessels, Noah Wessels, Chase Wessels, Dylan Sanchez, Taylor Bates and Cole Hyatt; and great-grandchildren, Ashton Wessels and Willow Bates.
