Adolf J. Zuber, 98, of Marengo, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at Rose Haven Nursing Home,
Marengo. Funeral services: 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Conroy, with the Rev. Gary
Sears officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Conroy. The family will receive friends after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.
Memorials may be contributed to the Trinity Lutheran Church, Conroy, or Essence of Life Hospice in his name.
Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is in charge of arrangements.
Adolf is survived by his daughter, Karen Esser and husband Robert of Marengo; three grandchildren, Rinda Shoup (Scott Wolfe) of Amana, Todd Esser (Christina) of Marengo and Kelsie Ballard (Billy) of Marengo; and four great-grandchildren, Lauren Shoup of Iowa City, Taylor Shoup of Minneapolis, Brandon Shoup of Cedar Rapids and Sidney Ballard of Marengo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Kathrine Glandorf Zuber; his wife, Dorothy Cooperider Zuber; and his siblings, Ada Daenzer, Flora Butlin, Ervin Zuber, Frieda Zuber, Clarence Zuber and Reno Zuber.
