Adelaide “Addie” Kolek, Adelaide “Addie” Kolek
Adelaide “Addie” Kolek, 90, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009. Private family services will be held. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her son, Dennis (Karon) Kolek of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Yvette (Paul) McCulley of Council Bluffs; 4 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Pisarik.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Addie was born April 8, 1919, in Ely. She married Burton F. Kolek on May 14, 1940, in Cedar Rapids. He died Jan. 28, 2008.
