Adams, Steven Francis
Steven Francis Adams, 57, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Dec. 26, 2009.
Steve was born March 23, 1952, in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Steve proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1970-1972 and was a loyal employee of Dolphin Inc. for 22 years. He was a member of the Calvary Chapel Arcadia of Phoenix. He loved football, hot rods and spending time with his granddaughters, Jeannette, DaKaria and Layna. Steve was a loving husband to his bride, Chris, of 21 years. He was a wonderful father, brother, and grandfather. He leaves behind four children, Aubrey, Andrea, Shondra and Adam.
A memorial service will be Thursday, Dec. 31, at 5 p.m. at Calvary Chapel Arcadia, 2828 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85016.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted by Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85016.
