Adam Wesley Robinson, 36, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. The Rev. John Sheda will officiate at the service. Burial will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.
Surviving are his wife, Carsandra "Casey"; children, Tess Rebecca-Grace Robinson, Adam Wesley Robinson II, Avery Fletcher Robinson, Keaton Charles Robinson, Karter Duane Robinson, Temperance Amber-Leigh Robinson, Cole Hansen-Corporon, Carisa Corporon, Janelle Corporon and Jaxon Corporon; his mother, Rebecca Beck of Central City; his father, Steve (Judy) Robinson of Lincoln, Neb.; and siblings, Tim (Bambi) Robinson of Nevada, Iowa, Shannon Robinson of Iowa City, Gabe Robinson of Cedar Rapids, Tony (Caroline) Burrier of North Liberty, Samantha (Drew) Paustian of Central City, Sid Beck of Cedar Rapids and Caleb Robinson of Lincoln, Neb.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Edna Cowell and Cliff and Helen Robinson.
Adam was born Oct. 18, 1977, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, son of Steven and Rebecca Cowell Robinson. He graduated from North Linn High School. On Dec. 9, 2006, Adam and Carsandra "Casey" Hansen were united in marriage in Independence, Iowa. Adam began employment at Hardee's while in high school, working his way up to general manager. He continued managing Hardee's until recently accepting the general manager position at Pizza Ranch.
Adam enjoyed basketball, baseball, bowling, playing pool, and being the manager of the North Linn football team. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and Kansas City Chiefs fan.
The thing Adam treasured most was the time he was given to spend with his children and family.
He was a loving son, husband, father, brother and friend and will be missed dearly by those closest to him.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for his children.
