Adam Dinero Albert Burkart, 32, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away July 18, 2022, at home. He is the beloved son of Marcie Burkart and Dominick Hudson, born Dec. 12, 1989, in Waverly, Iowa. Adam is survived by his grandmother, Josephine Yuza; brothers, Nathan Stephens, Dominick Hudson II and Joseph Hudson; sisters, Jessica Ried, Samantha Reckinger and Melya Bounds; and stepfather, Todd Reckinger. Other survivors include many aunts, uncles and cousins, and his niece, Chloe Ried.
Adam was preceded in death with his special friend, Michaela; great-grandparents, Norman and Delores Burkart, grandmother, Rebecca Beard; grandfathers, Daniel J. Frasher and Robert Yuza; and his aunt, Tasha Beard.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. at Trinity-St. James United Methodist Church at 1430 Ellis Blvd NW, Cedar Rapids. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Mission of Hope, 1700 B Ave. NE, Cedar Rapids, or NAMI Linn County, 601 Second Ave. SE, Cedar Rapids. Adam will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends.
