Adair, Georgia Lea
Georgia Lea Adair, 76, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Please join the family from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Grandview Village Community Center, 5410 Wabash St. SW, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne James Adair; children, Rodney Adair (Sharon) of Cedar Rapids, Deborah Bell (Joe) of Alexander, N.C., Kathie Janda of Cedar Rapids, Mike Adair (Connie) of Port Orchard, Wash. and Tess Adair (Brad) of Atkins; a brother, William O'Toole (Nancy); sisters, Betty Smith and Sara Harris (Cleon); grandchildren, Amy (Jeff), Summer (Jeff), Codi (Keith), Dustin (Stephanie), Nicholas (Kourtnee), Brooke (Ryan), Ben (Amy), Kiley (John), Ryan and Brianne; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Velma Lawson; and her father, George O'Toole.
She was born March 16, 1936, in Centerville, Iowa, and married Wayne Adair, the love of her life, Nov. 22, 1958, in Toledo, Iowa. She loved gardening, bird watching and road trips with her husband. Most of all she loved her family and playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed.
