Mount Pleasant Police have received a missing persons report for a young woman missing since last Saturday, a press release said.
Jackie L. Douthart, 24, was last seen around midnight on May 21. She was last seen in a car with several individuals she knew after leaving her sister's home, family friend Candi Wixom said.
Douthart is 5'4” tall and weighs approximately 120 pounds. She has green eyes, purple highlights in her hair and is missing the bottom row of her teeth.
“Jackie also has a tattoo of the name “Zoey” on her left ankle and a butterfly on her right shoulder blade,” her mother, Tammy Haynes, said.
A press release indicates that Douhart was last seen wearing a zebra striped shirt, black vest, blue jeans and flip-flops.
Douthart rarely goes more than six hours without contacting family or friends and has never left the area without telling anyone, especially because she has an 8-year-old daughter, Wixom said.
A Facebook Group has been established by friends and family members. Individuals seeking to aid in the search for Douthart are encouraged to visit and learn how they can help.
Anyone with information about Douthart's whereabouts or who has had contact with her since Saturday is urged to contact the Mount Pleasant Police Department at 319-385-3511.
