Woman who died in crash near Kalona identified
The Washington County Sheriff's Office has identified a Kalona woman as the victim of a fatal single-vehicle crash near Kalona Tuesday night.
Joey Ann Miller, 31, of Kalona was killed in the crash, officials said Friday. The investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
Sheriff's deputies and the Kalona Fire Department responded to the accident just after 9 p.m. One vehicle was found flipped over in a ditch near the intersection of Orange Avenue and 110th Street. Miller was pronounced dead at the scene.
Crews were on the scene for about three hours working on removing the vehicle.
