Woman drives car into side of downtown post office
\A woman drove up the curb and hit the side of the downtown post office at 615 6th St. SE after leaving a health clinic around 3:45 p.m. The accident occurred as the woman attempted to make a left turn out of the Physicians Clinic of Iowa parking lot.
Police said the woman was taken to Mercy Hospital and didn't consider her injuries to be serious.
At first glance post office employees said there was no significant damage to the building.
The accident remains under investigation.
