Window shattered at Cedar Rapids police substation
Workers were sweeping up shattered glass at the Cedar Rapids police substation this afternoon.
A city worker said the weed trimmer she was using picked up a rock and threw it toward the glass window.
Workers sitting in front of the window were not injured.
The police substation at 1501 First Ave. SE opened last October.
