West Branch man charged in federal court for child porn

CEDAR RAPIDS - A 48-year-old West Branch man was charged last week in U.S. District Court with one count of receipt of child pornography and three counts of possession of child pornography.
According to an indictment, Timothy Wilker is accused of knowingly receiving child pornography and knowingly possessing two computers and printed images of child pornography between January 2004 and May 2009.
Wilker appeared in federal court Sept. 28, and was released on bond. Wilker's trial is set Nov. 28. If convicted, he faces five to 20 years in prison and $1 million in fines.
