Weekend weather word: Warm-up
If you have outdoor projects or activities planned, you're in luck this week, and especially this weekend.
A warm-up is still on track for both Saturday and Sunday, with highs expected in the 60s each day, according to KCRG-TV9's Kaj O'Mara. After a high around 50 today, highs should reach the mid-50s by Thursday and near 60 by Friday before climbing into the 60s for the weekend. Clear skies will allow temperatures to fall back into the 20s tonight, but by the end of the week lows aren't expected to fall below 40.
And the best news of all: There's no rain in the forecast until Monday, O'Mara said.
