CEDAR RAPIDS 'MORE PREPARED' FOR FLOOD — A year ago, the Cedar River threatened NewBo and many areas in Eastern Iowa bringing normal life to a screeching halt. Wednesday marks the anniversary of the historic crest of 21.95 feet — the second highest in the city's history. Things are back to normal now.
