CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) - A 28-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to robbing a Waterloo bank.
The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier says Kurtis Culbert, of Waterloo, appeared at his arraignment on Thursday. He's been charged with robbing the U.S. Bank branch on April 7, getting $80. Police say that's what the robber's note to a teller demanded: $80.
No one at the bank was hurt.
Culbert was caught later that day at a homeless shelter in Cedar Rapids.
A trial date has not been set. Culbert remains in jail, pending $100,000 bail.
