CEDAR RAPIDS — A portion of Ellis Boulevard will be closed until next week to allow for water main repairs.
The city announced Thursday that Ellis Boulevard, between 16th Street and North Park Entrance Road NW is closed, effective immediately. The closure could last up to five days.
A detour will be posted. During the closure, access to homes off 16th Street will be maintained via Zika Avenue NW.
