Police have requested that a warrant be issued for the arrest of a man who left a woman who was injured when he crashed his motorcycle.
Around 3:40 p.m. Thursday, police responded to motorcycle crash in the 3400 block of Towne House Drive NE, near Twin Pines Golf Course. Police said Catrin T. Rhodes, 30, and his female passenger were both hurt when they were thrown from the bike during the single-vehicle crash.
Rhodes left the scene on the motorcycle, police said. At 5 p.m., officers were waiting outside his parents' house at 4518 Pine Tree Dr. NE. They were unable to locate him, but have since requested the warrant for driving while barred, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, failure to maintain control and no insurance.
The woman was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
An investigation was continuing.
