VIDEO: Evansdale home a total loss after fire

An Evansdale home burst into flames Thursday morning, and a gas leak was found outside the home, Evansdale fire officials say.
The fire was reported around 2:30 a.m. at 1040 Jones Road. The home is considered a total loss.
MidAmerican Energy arrived on scene to turn off gas to the area. Although firefighters found a leak near the home, an official cause has yet to be determined. No injuries were reported.
