Victim identified in fatal crash near Central City

CEDAR RAPIDS - The Linn County Sheriff's Office has identified the person who died in a single-vehicle accident early Tuesday.
Rosemary Eiben, 56, of Central City, was the driver and only occupant in an overturned vehicle at Sawyer and Duck Pond roads east of Central City.
According to the sheriff's office, the vehicle went out of control on Sawyer Road, went into a ditch and came to rest on a frozen pond.
Eiben was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation, the sheriff's office said.
