Vandalism, burglary spree nets dozens of charges for Manchester teens

Two teens face more than 42 charges each from what Manchester police describe as a three-week burglary and vandalism spree, and more arrests could be coming.
Police said cash, electronic devices and personal items valued at more than $4,000 were taken from a number of unlocked vehicles.
And on Halloween night, 12 cars and sidewalks in one section of town were spray painted, causing damage estimated at more than $6,000.
Manchester police arrested Brandon Williams, 17, of Manchester and charged him with 15 counts of third-degree burglary, 15 counts of second-degree theft and 12 counts of second-degree criminal mischief.
Malachi Montes, 17, of Earlville faces similar charges, including 16 counts of third-degree burglary, 15 counts of second-degree theft and 12 counts of second-degree criminal mischief.
Police said many personal items stolen from the vehicles was recovered after a search warrant was executed at a residence in rural Delaware County.
Authorities said more arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
