UI's Nearly Naked Run set to benefit charity March 6

The University of Iowa Alumni Association's S.T.A.T. (Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow) Ambassadors are planning the second annual Nearly Naked Mile, where runners take off layers of clothing to donate to the Salvation Army.
Organizers said that after stripping down, runners must wear clothing covering at least the bathing suit areas. No naked runners are allowed. Being nearly naked is optional, but runners must donate at least one piece of clothing to participate.
The Nearly Naked Mile starts at 3 p.m. March 6 and will begin and end at Hubbard Park. The first 100 pre-registered participants will receive a Nearly Naked Mile 2010 T-shirt. Register at
