UI student seeks county supervisor seat
IOWA CITY - This must be the year of student political involvement.
On the tails of three University of Iowa students running for City Council in Iowa City (it's down to two students after the primary), another UI student is seeking the open seat on the Johnson County Board of Supervisors.
That would be Maison Bleam, who was the UI Student Government president last school year.
Also, in an update to an earlier post, Janelle Rettig applied today. So too did Terry Dahms, who lost in the 2008 Board of Supervisors Democratic primary
