U.S. Air Force F-16 jet crashes in Maryland; pilot ejects safely
WASHINGTON - A U.S. Air Force F-16 fighter jet crashed near National Harbor, Maryland on Wednesday morning and the pilot ejected safely, two U.S. officials said.
The officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the jet had crashed six nautical miles south west of National Harbor in an unpopulated area.
