Authorities say firefighters in eastern Iowa's Benton County fought two suspicious blazes in a two-hour span.
The first erupted just after midnight Saturday at a grain elevator in Watkins. A half dozen fire departments responded to help knock down the flames.
The second fire erupted about 2 a.m. Sunday in Blairstown, which is about three miles west of Watkins. About half the firefighters left for Blairstown to fight the blaze, which was consuming hay bales.
The fires are considered suspicious in origin. No injuries have been reported.
