Two motorcycles collide south of Cedar Rapids; both riders hurt

UPDATE: Two men were hurt when two motorcycles spun out of control and collided Thursday night, authorities said.
Police and medics responded around 7:45 p.m. to Highway 965, just south of Wright Brothers Boulevard SW. The two men were both southbound on their motorcycles when they lost control, according to the Linn County Sheriff's Office.
Michael A. Wullner, 45, of Cedar Rapids, and Eric J. Stephenson, 35, of Marion, were both hurt when they were thrown from their bikes. Their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, authorities said.
Wullner was transported to University Hospitals in Iowa City, and Stephenson was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. Information about their medical conditions was not immediately available.
An investigation was continuing.
