Two men were taken into custody Sunday night after reports of shots being fired in a Waterloo neighborhood.
Officers were called to the area of West Third and Locust streets in Waterloo around 6:50 p.m. Sunday, and members of the Waterloo Violent Crimes Apprehension Unit found information on possible suspects in the shooting.
Two people were located in the 900 block of West Fifth Street, and were taken into custody after a short chase.
Police said Trevell Demon Bruce and Patrelle Jose Green-Bowman, both 18, were involved in an argument with another group with Bruce pulled out a gun and fired a shot.

A stolen .40-caliber semi-automatic handgun was also found in Green-Bowman's possession, and he faces a felony charge of interference with official acts while in possession of a firearm, as well as a charge of carrying weapons.
