Two injured in crash on Edgewood Rd.
The drivers of a car and an SUV were taken by ambulance to the hospital after they crashed in the middle Edgewood Road and 16
th
Avenue Friday night.
The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m., when the male driver made a left turn without yielding to oncoming traffic. The male driver of the car slammed into the side of the SUV.
Police said that the two men sustained neck and head injuries but that none of the injuries were life threatening. A female passenger in the SUV was not harmed in the crash.
Cedar Rapids Police are still investigating the incident, but said that neither of the drivers was under the influence.
