Two dead in Des Moines shooting

Des Moines police say a man shot a woman to death and wounded another woman and then killed himself.
Sgt. Jeff Edwards says police responding to a shooting late Monday found two women with gunshot wounds in a car in a driveway of a home.
Edwards identifies the dead woman as 24-year-old Carrie Russell, who lived at the house. The other woman, 56-year-old Leona Fatina, who also lived at the home, was shot in the leg. She was taken to a hospital. There was no immediate word on her condition.
Edwards says police tracked the suspect in the shooting, 25-year-old Robert Sears, to another house, where police found him dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Edwards says Sears was an acquaintance of Russell.
