Two people are in custody after authorities found precursors used to make methamphetamine at a residence in Stanwood.
Cedar County Sheriff Warren Wethington said deputies responded to 203 South Main St. before 8 a.m. Tuesday. He said meth had been manufactured at the house in the past, but the lab was not active at the time.
"There were several containers with anhydrous in them," Wethington said.
Hazardous materials technicians were called in to clean up the scene.
The names of the people arrested were not immediately released. Check back for updates.
