MARENGO – The trial of Ryan Randles, who is accused robbing a hotel and bank in Williamsburg within a 24-hour period last October, has been reset to July 26 in Iowa County District Court.
Randles, 36, who has no permanent address, is charged with two counts of second-degree robbery and one count of second-degree theft. He also faces several charges from Polk County law enforcement.
The first robbery was at a Best Western hotel on Oct. 19 and second robbery at the Keokuk County State Bank happened about 1 p.m. Oct. 20. Surveillance cameras inside of the bank caught video of the man brandishing a hand gun during the robbery.
Police said Randles had money in his possession that they believe is from the two robberies.
A pre-trial conference was also reset 10 a.m. July 11.
