Trial reset for man accused of murdering 2-year-old

The first-degree murder trial of Lee Muldoon, 24, of Coggon, is reset to August 9.
Muldoon is accused of killing his girlfriend's 2-year-old daughter Skylar Inman in 2008. Skyler died from blunt force injuries. He is also charged with child endangerment causing death.
Skylar's mother Brianna Volesky, 19, pleaded guilty in January to involuntary manslaughter in the death of Skyler. She was originally charged with child endangerment causing death but the lesser charges were offered by the Linn County Attorney's Office contingent upon her testimony against Muldoon at his trial. She will be sentenced after Muldoon's trial.
