Trial postponed for Washington man accused of killing wife

The second-degree murder trial of James Blum, 70, of Washington, was reset today in Washington County District Court to Aug. 13.
Blum pleaded not guilty last month in the death of his wife Patricia, 67. Blum is accused of pinning his wife face down on the sofa and strangling her for a few minutes on Jan. 11.
A pretrial hearing was also set for 9:30 a.m. Aug. 13.
