Trial delayed for Washington man accused of killing wife
The second-degree murder trial for James Blum, 70, of Washington, was reset Tuesday in Washington County District Court to Oct. 5.
Blum, a former Wellman city councilman, is accused of killing his wife, Patricia Blum, on Jan. 11 by pushing her face first onto a couch in their home and smothering her.
A pretrial hearing is scheduled for Sept. 10.
