Traffic begins to flow again on southbound Interstate 380 after crash
CEDAR RAPIDS — As Tuesday afternoon rush hour approached, a traffic crash on southbound Interstate 380 near Wilson Avenue was backing up traffic through downtown.
A lane closure directly affected traffic between exits 17 and 18. But just before 5 p.m., the Iowa Department of Transportation reported that it had reopened and traffic was beginning to flow better.
The nature of the collision was unclear, but it appeared that a vehicle hit a guard rail.
