UPDATE: Tonight's forum was moved from Coe College's Sinclair Auditorium to Cherry Auditorium in Petersen Hall because of construction work at Sinclair, forum organizers said.
The final in a series of public forums on how Iowans and their communities can undertake flood preparation, prevention and protection efforts will be held today in Cedar Rapids.
The “Don't Test The Waters” community meeting begins at 6 p.m. at Cherry Auditorium in the Peterson Hall of Science, near Sinclair Auditorium at Coe College, 1220 First Ave.
The meeting is part of the Iowa Flood Awareness Interagency Coalition's two-year federally funded flood awareness and mitigation program.
The first three meetings were held in Ottumwa, Council Bluffs and Des Moines.
