Is this the tattoo, then, from a Dec. 16 photo?

Evening update: Someone who can actually read Chinese has shared that the single character on Tom's leg, in its simplest translation, only means "love." Nothing about man or mankind in there. Unless there's another tattoo about "man" under his other pant leg, I think we've resolved the matter.
