HY-VEE PARTNERING WITH WAHLBURGERS — Grocery chain Hy-Vee will break into the restaurant business next year. Hy-Vee announced late Wednesday that it has partnered with Wahlburgers, a restaurant chain founded by Paul Wahlberg and his brothers, actors Mark and Donnie Wahlberg. Under the agreement, Hy-Vee said it will build, own and operate 26 Wahlburgers in seven Midwestern states. The first restaurant will be built in West Des Moines. Read more: http://bit.ly/2vGstzx
PED MALL SHOOTING NOW MURDER CASE — A man badly injured last weekend in a shooting on the Pedestrian Mall has died, upping the charges against his accused assailant and leading police to take steps against any revenge. Kaleek Asham Douglas Jones, 22, of Iowa City, died Tuesday after he and two others were shot early Sunday, according to Iowa City police. Read more: http://bit.ly/2vGftKq
