Three walk-on Iowa football players cited for disorderly house

The blowout at Kinnick Stadium continued early Sunday morning at the home of three University of Iowa walk-on football players.

Iowa City police cited Sean P. Skradis, Andrew T. Stone and Alden H. Haffar for disorderly house early Sunday morning after breaking up a party at their home at 1021 Wylde Green Road. Haffar was also charged with possession of alcohol under the legal age and interference with official acts.

According to criminal complaints, police were called to the players' home shortly after midnight Sunday after receiving numerous complaints from neighbors. Responding officers were able to hear a "loud, raucous noise" coming from the home from 75 feet away, according to complaints. Police said approximately 50 people left the residence after the party was dispersed.

While Stone and Skradis admitted to living at the residence and took responsibility for the party, Haffar did not, police said. Police said the encountered Haffar outside of the residence. When he saw officers approaching, he dropped a bottle of Fireball whiskey.

Haffar told the officers he did not live at the home and was not carrying his identification. He attempted to run from officers, but gave up "after seeing he would not be able to out run me," the arresting officer said in the complaint.

None of the men have seen any playing time for the Hawkeyes. Haffar, 20, is a junior transfer from Iowa Central. Skradis, 20, transferred to Iowa from Iowa Western last season. Stone, 20, is also a transfer from Iowa Western.
