Three roommates arrested in Marion meth bust

An early morning raid Friday, Jan. 8, led to the arrests of three Marion roommates for multiple drug charges after police officers found methamphetamine manufacturing materials, as wells drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Marion's H.E.A.T. (High-Risk Entry Arrest Team) executed a search warrant at 1285 Seventh St. at 6 a.m.
Mindi Marie Lawless, 29, and Wesley Paul Schmelzer, 30, faces charges for possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine precursors, unlawful possession of prescription drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly house.
Caleb Lee Olson, 34, faces charges for possession of methamphetamine precursors and disorderly house.
Schmelzer and Olson are both still at Linn County Jail. Schmelzer faces a $5,000 bond and Olson faces a $10,000 bond.
