Three injured in three-vehicle crash near Marion

MARION - Three people were injured in a three-vehicle crash that happened off Highway 151 in Marion Wednesday afternoon.
Chief Harry Daugherty of the Marion Police Department said a van and two trucks crashed on westbound Highway 151 at 12:31 p.m. Wednesday. He said an All Clear company van caused the accident, and three people who were riding in the van were injured.
The driver of the van was taken by helicopter to University Hospital in Iowa City, one passenger was taken by ambulance to University Hospital and the third passenger was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Daughtery said.
Officials at the scene said the passengers in the two trucks were not injured.
