Three hurt in Highway 13 crash
Three people went to the hospital after a collision Sunday along Highway 13.
Joyce Spaight, 67, of 311 38th St. NE, pulled from the stop sign at the Vernon Valley Road intersection and into the path of a vehicle being driven south by Janice Norton, 68, of Fulton, Ill. a few minutes after 6 p.m., according to the Linn County Sheriff's Sgt. Richard Yoder.
Janice Norton and a passenger, Katrina Norton, 36, also of Clinton, were taken to Mercy Medical Center with injuries that weren't believed life-threatening. Information on their conditions wasn't available Sunday night.
Spaight was not injured.
