Myrtle Ross of Cedar Rapids is wheeled out of Mercy Medical Center as she's released and sees her family all together for the first time in Cedar Rapids on Friday, Oct. 2, 2020. Ross spent 66 days in the hospital as she was treated for COVID-19. While Ross was in the hospital the Aug. 10 derecho rendered her and her husband's home uninhabitable. The two will be staying in a hotel for the foreseeable future.
