New websites have new look and feel

Why we are changing:
Our system to produce our daily news products was nearing the end of its life cycle, and we had to upgrade all the software that is connected to that system. In doing so, we re-evaluated the reader experience on our website and redesigned it with our audience in mind.
New features:
- Faster: We’ve removed some ads and squished our code as much as we can to increase how quickly our site loads.
- New menu: Our expanded menu is easier to navigate and find what you are looking for, with better search features.
- On-page navigation: Every page of the new site has easy-to-find, on-page navigation so you can discover news you can use.

What isn’t changing:
While you may have to re-login to the site, your username and password have not changed. If you need any help with this, please contact customer care or call 319-398-8333.
The archive, the Digital Edition, and all of our previous features will remain, so please share your feedback about the new website design. We hope you find it easy to use.
