At least 10 vehicles were broken into overnight in Urbana, including one that had a back window knocked out, authorities said.
Benton County Sheriff Randy Forsyth said two laptop computers, a GPS unit and cash were stolen out of the vehicles. Investigators believe the break-ins happened between 10 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday.
In the 400 block of Richland Avenue, someone broke out the back window of a locked car to get to one of the laptops, authorities said. Other reports were taken from the 200 through 400 blocks of Oak Avenue, the 200 block of Agape Avenue and the 800 block of South Street.
Forsyth said only one of the vehicles impacted was locked. In some cases, the vehicle was entered, but nothing was taken.
No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call the Urbana Police Department or Benton County sheriff's office.
