Teens arrested in Iowa City, face gang recruiting charges

Iowa City Police arrested four juveniles on gang recruiting charges Saturday night.
Around ten o'clock, police say they saw a group of juveniles yelling at each other in the 1900 block of Broadway Street. When police intervened several of the kids ran away, but police were able to catch five of them.
An investigation revealed the teens are part of a group known as the Broadway Goons. Police say they were trying to recruit another person into the gang.
