Suspect arrested in Coralville bank robbery
An Iowa City man faces a charge of second-degree robbery in connection with a bank robbery in Coralville last month.
Larry Colton Pate, 42, of 2105 Western Rd., Iowa City, is accused of entering U.S. Bank in Coralville on Sept. 20 and presenting a note demanding cash and fleeing from the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. Pate faces a charge of second-degree robbery in the case..
Pate was taken into custody Friday near the Iowa City Ground Transportation Center. He is currently in the Johnson County Jail awaiting an initial appearance on the robbery charge.
