Stutsman, Langston become chairwomen

Sally Stutsman is the new chairwoman of the Johnson County supervisors.

The former vice chairwoman rotated into the chairman's job on Monday during the supervisors' annual organizational meeting.

Stutsman was filling in for Larry Meyers after he died in September. Supervisor Pat Harney will serve as vice chairman of the board.

In Linn County, Supervisor Linda Langston was appointed as the 2010 chairwoman, and Supervisor Ben Rogers was named vice chairman.

The appointments rotate in Linn County according to which of five districts the supervisors are from.
