' Reason for nomination: Maddy has been instrumental in starting the First Tech Challenge at the high school. She was involved in the middle school Lego League when it started in Ossian. She continues to be involved in FLL as a volunteer mentor. She is a good student, ranking in the top half of her class. Maddy is involved in choir and participates in the school musical. She is a part of the SODA (Students Opposed to Drugs and Alcohol) group, has a job in the local nursing home as a CNA and volunteers to help others often. She also is a youth representative on the church council and teaches Sunday School.
