Ashley sets high standards for herself by doing more than what is expected. She has been a vital member for the past three years in the Solon Youth Octagon Club, where she has helped with Earth Day cleanup and knitting several scarves for the homeless shelter. She also volunteers with The Solon American Legion. Ever since she was 5 years old, Ashley has helped hang flags for the Solon Memorial Day service, sold food and cleaned up during Solon Beef Days, and bused tables for special events. She plays an active role in her church, plays basketball and runs cross country, and is involved with show choir and choir.
